Privacy policy

Effective 15 October 2026

PianoDuo collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code in the app, and it sends nothing about you anywhere.

What stays on your device

Your stars, best scores, unlocked chapters, today’s song and your settings (such as the timing calibration and the Room view) are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes them.

The camera

The Room view shows the rear camera’s live picture behind the falling notes. The picture is drawn on the screen as it arrives and is never recorded, stored or sent. PianoDuo asks for camera access the first time you turn the Room view on; if you decline, the game plays on its dark stage. You can change this at any time in the iOS Settings app → Privacy & Security → Camera.

Purchases

The Full Game purchase is made through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details or your identity. The app only checks with Apple, on your device, whether the purchase is yours.

Children

PianoDuo is rated 4+ and collects no information from anyone, children included.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will change first, with a new effective date.
